A Dream Left Behind - The Whisper Of The Forest
In life, we all carry many dreams in our hearts. Some of those dreams come true, while others slowly fade away along the journey of life. They remain quietly within us as memories, sometimes bringing a sense of longing. One such dream in my life is my love for wildlife and forest conservation.
For a long time, I had a deep desire to walk through forests, to feel the cool breeze passing through the tall trees, and to observe the lives of animals in their natural habitat. I always imagined myself carrying a camera, wandering through the wilderness, capturing beautiful and rare moments of nature. To me, the true beauty of the world does not only exist in busy cities, but deep within the quiet heart of the forest.
Places like Yala National Park or the lush rainforest of Sinharaja Forest Reserve always inspired my imagination. I dreamed of watching animals move freely in their natural environment, listening to the songs of birds, and witnessing the harmony of nature that exists far away from human noise and chaos.
However, life does not always follow the path we imagine. Responsibilities, social expectations, and the practical needs of everyday life often force us to make difficult choices. Sometimes we have to sacrifice certain dreams in order to move forward. That is what happened to me as well.
Today, when I look back, there is a small place in my heart filled with regret. It is the place where that dream still lives - the dream of walking through forests, observing wildlife, and capturing the beauty of nature through a camera lens. Unfortunately, it became one of those dreams that I could never fully achieve.
Yet, that dream has never completely disappeared. It still lives quietly within me, like a soft whisper carried by the wind through the trees. Perhaps one day, I will finally find myself walking through a forest path, surrounded by the sounds of nature, watching animals live freely in the wild, and capturing those precious moments through a camera.
Until that day comes, the forest will remain a dream that continues to live in my heart. πΏπ·
